When a group calls itself "The Killergroove Formula" and its album "Territory: World", chances are it is not aiming for airplay on chilled-out jazz radio or appearances on intellectual minimal clicks compilations. Nope, this is full-on party music. The KGF crew has found the formula for freshness and is ready to get the planet dancing while, in their stride, preventing boredom overkill and adding serious crossover potential to the ever-underground genre of Breakbeat. No really – these tunes are FUN! Respected in this internationally closely-knit scene, The Killergroove Formula know their Breaks but they also know how to reach a wider public with them.

Their first record "Keep On Burnin'" and their highly acclaimed remix for Malente's "We Came To Party" already proved The Killergroove Formula's name was to be taken literally. Breakbeat aficionados from all over the World and even nerdy scenesters form the UK were suddenly addicted to Breaks from Deutschland. KGF tunes entered the top ranks of the German Club Charts as well as the playlists of international key jocks – "The world is catching on to the Killergroove in a big way" (breakbeat.ca). After some more big releases and many a night rocking clubs with four decks and a microphone, we are now presented with the debut album of Lars Moston, Jens "der Wolf" Albert and MC NDN.

Non-German speakers should not be put off by the introduction spoken by Nobby Dickel, formerly star striker, now stadium announcer for the group's favourite football team Borussia Dortmund. Just a little tongue-in-cheek bit of fun for the locals before we get down to a wild ride full of in-your-face dancefloor energy, freestyle Electro Funk, massive basslines and a positive vibe. Expect roof-raising party tunes between Breaks, House, Funk, Electro, HipHop, Techno and Rock, smashing yesterday's musical boundaries in surprisingly new ways.
